BET Awards: Singer Teni Apata loses at Best New International Act category

Nigerian star-girl Teni Apata has lost in the Best New International Act category at the 2019 BET Awards which held last night at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles, United States of America (USA)

The singer was nominated alongside ShoMadjozi of South Africa, Jokair from France, Octavian from the UK, Nesly from France and Headie One, UK.

The category was won by South African music sensation, Sho Madjozi.

It was a big one for the Nigerian singer, Teni, despite not winning in the category. The singer had a great year in 2018 where she carted almost all the awards she was nominated in, including the controversial Best New Artistes at the SoundCity Music Awards, which saw DMW singer, Peruzzi ranting he was supposed the winner.
