Earlier this week, Nicki Minaj’s L.A. home was burglarized for
$200,000 in jewelry, with sources reporting that personal items like
picture frames and clothing were intentionally damaged and destroyed.
The alleged “personal” nature of the robbery led to fans discussing and joking about the possible involvement of Meek Mill, who dated Nicki for over year before the two broke up in January. Meek was approached by a TMZ cameraman about the burglary last night, and made it very clear that he had nothing to do with it.
“Do it look like I rob people?” he asked, hanging his chains out of his car window. “I got about 450 on my neck, about 80 on the wrist. Do I look like I rob people?” When the paparazzi followed up with a question about whether Meek had spoken to Nicki since the burglary, he quickly shut the conversation down.
“You asking too many fucking questions about my personal life. Get to it,” he said, before closing his window on the paps.
