Fat Joe and Remy Ma’s collaborative LP Plata O Plamo
was originally set to hit stores today (Feb. 10). The joint album has
now been pushed back a week, releasing on its new date of Feb. 17. To
hold fans over, Joe Crack and Reminisce treat music lovers with a new
record off the album titled “Heartbreak.”Despite its
title, the record is a feel good vibrant offering adding to the recent
infusion of Caribbean-inspired tracks dominating radio in recent years.
The-Dream comes through on the hook while electro duo Vindata are also
featured on the track. “The song has a beautiful vibe,” Fat Joe tells Billboard,
who premiered the song. “I called Dream because he’s one of the
greatest and I’ve always wanted to work with him.”Available for
pre-order on iTunes, Plata O Plamo features appearances by French Montana, Ty Dolla $ign, The-Dream, Sevyn Streeter, BJ the Chicago Kid, and Kent Jones
