Last week, only days after announcing he was hanging it up, the Chicago rapper announced that DROGAS Light would be coming February 10th. Given how unpredictable the rapper has been lately, fans were hesitant to take the announcement too seriously.
The confirmation by the Chicago rapper goes along with reports that were going around the Internet that he would be dropping another project soon after. Earlier last week, a Reddit user, who was on hand at Lupe’s show in Cleveland, Ohio, claimed the rapper revealed plans to drop DROGAS Light album on Feb. 10, 2017, before sharing the main DROGAS album. “He said he could never fully give himself to an album while with Atlantic, so the real DROGAS will be released after a ‘lite’ version with Atlantic,” the user wrote.
